DISSECTION: 'Starless Aeon' Video Posted Online

April 10, 2006

DISSECTION's video for the track "Starless Aeon" has been posted online at MP3.com. The song comes off the Swedish extreme metallers' upcoming CD, "Reinkaos", due on May 16 via The End Records (April 30 in Europe on the group's own label, Black Horizon Records).

Commented vocalist/guitarist Jon Nödtveidt: "For the making of the video to 'Starless Aeon', the first song from 'Reinkaos' to become visual, DISSECTION explore a special filming technique, shooting scenes backwards, with the band literally having to perform their music and sing the lyrics backwards. The filmed sequences have then ultimately been reversed again, with an original backwards sequence playing forwards in sync with the album version of the song. The visual result appears rather sick and disturbing, and like the rest of the video, very dark."

On April 30, DISSECTION will release the limited-edition "Starless Aeon" CD-single through The End Records. The complete track listing for the single is as follows:

01. Starless Aeon (Album Version)
02. Xeper-I-Set (Album Version)
03. Starless Aeon (Instrumental Version)
04. Bonus Video: Starless Aeon (Original Edit)
